Our extraordinarily popular co-ed beginners' sailing course, taught in two consecutive weekends, 3 hours each day. A fun and affordable "start from scratch" approach, covering all the essentials to get you started sailing on your own. Lots of hands-on sailing experience with just two to a boat. 17 ft. Nomad sloop with asymmetrical spinnaker
Prerequisites: Intermediate Sailing
Enjoy plenty of personal attention with a 3-to-1 student-instructor ratio and an instructor on the boat. Our 17 ft. Nomad is stable and spacious, yet fast and high-performance. Students will polish their boat-handling skills, learn how to fly a spinnaker, and use a GPS to navigate in and around Norwalk Islands. Chalk-talks explore the finer points of drive and resistance forces and how to control them. Sailing Theory, Vol. II manual included.

Prerequisites: Ability to swim, Basic Sailing suggested
Learn to handle a catamaran in a one-time, 3-hour Saturday morning crash course. This is the perfect course if you have already done some sailing in mono-hulls and are ready to graduate to a multi-hull. We'll show you, step by step, how to handle all the gear, maneuver like a pro, and get the most out of our beach cats.

Stand-up paddling (SUP) is the latest rage in watersports. It’s the fun way to get out on the water and get an upper body workout at the same time. Learn how it’s done correctly and safely in a single Saturday morning class. A patient instructor will get you off to the right start and qualify you for student discount rental rates all summer long.
